Craftsmanship Matters.
Third-generation builder and craftsman David Hesla had over 30 years in the business of luxury home construction in Oregon while operating under his name when he approached me to redesign his logo. We explored two options: a brand refresh on his current logo, or exploring a complete rebrand.
After considering the choices, he chose to rebrand. His values drive him to create innovative, high-performance luxury homes and net-zero energy sustainable homes with respect for the environment, and he decided he wanted the company name to reflect that. I partnered with him to develop a brand that would represent the quality, craftsmanship, and sustainable focus found in his work. Project scope included brand identity and a complete style guide to ensure uniformity and avoid dilution of the new brand as it grows.
